How to say I miss you in Hindi
There is no Hindi verb for missing someone. The language says something better: your memory keeps coming to me. Once you see the shape of that sentence, a whole family of feeling words opens up with it.
The sentence
Word by word: मुझे is to me, तुम्हारी is your, याद is memory, आती है is comes. Your memory comes to me.
Why it is built that way
Hindi puts feelings at you, not from you. The person feeling it gets marked with को or its short forms like मुझे, and the thing felt does the work in the verb. याद is feminine, so the verb is आती है and stays that way no matter who is speaking. A man and a woman say this sentence identically.
Missing someone else
The warmer things people say instead
In practice, families say the feeling sideways. These land harder than a direct translation, and they are easier to say on a video call without sounding rehearsed.
One small thing to get right
तुम्हारी and आपकी both end in -ee here because याद is feminine. If you swap in a masculine noun the ending changes with it. That agreement is the single most useful habit to build early, and it is the one that makes a sentence sound like a person rather than an app.
